The JGS of Los Angeles, with more than 600 members, is the second largest Jewish genealogy society in the U.S. Los Angeles - a city that has drawn very large groups of immigrants from around the world, beginning to settle in 1850s. We offer monthly meetings with stimulating speakers, a quarterly research journal, ancestral-country interest groups and mentors for new members.
