Temple Shir Hadash is an independent Jewish community providing a home for all Jews in the Westford area. We are committed to fostering community by offering opportunities for meaningful worship, the pursuit of spirituality and lifelong Jewish education.
TGIF was formed to allow single Jewish professionals in the greater Boston community a chance to network, mingle, schmooze, and meet people in a relaxed non-threatening atmosphere. The group was started in the 1980's and has been quite successful in helping people to form new friendships and has been responsible for several marriages which now have offspring !

This concert features the lost sacred music of the Baal Shem Tov, the founder of Judaism’s Chasidic movement, and traditional music from his hometown of Mezbuz; recovered and orchestrated by local composer Daniel S. Gil.
