Family Digitization Project and the Hebrew University, Department of
Geography, Historic Cities Research Project are happy to announce the
opening to the public of the digital collection: Ancient Maps of
Jerusalem. This project, based on the Eran Laor Cartographic
Collection at the JNUL, contains a variety of maps of Jerusalem, both
real and imaginary, dating from 1486 through 1930.
The Judaica-Library contains rabbinical literature as well as books on the subjects of religion, philosophy, history, and Jewish life in Germany and other countries, anti-Semitism and Shoah as well as arts and science, biographies of Jewish personalities and books about Israel.
In the fiction department the visitor has the choice between novels and poetry by Jewish authors and Yiddish literature and lyrics.
