The Jaffa Institute is a private non-profit organization serving approximately 3,500 disadvantaged children, of all ages, without reference to religious or ethnic background. Presently, the Jaffa Institute provides over 30 social and educational enrichment programs in Jaffa, a residential educational center in Bet Shemesh, and an educational enrichment program in Kiryat Ha-Yovel, Jerusalem. The mission of the Jaffa Institute is to provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs that provide severely disadvantaged children a sense of self worth, while furnishing them with the skills needed to succeed and to reach their full academic and social potential.
